Graduation!!

Hey everyone :)

So I just graduated from Grade 12 in June and that was such a crazy time for me. I really miss highschool sometimes but University is amazing as well. So for grad I wanted to make something with origami and I got a diagram from Jewellia7777 for a graduation bear. I used her basic design but I added a lot of my own touch. Here it is:

I also wanted to thank all of you for visiting my blog and my youtube channel!! It means a lot to me :D

Tuxedo Sam

This little penguin is so cute! I love his little hat as well. He was pretty easy to make and didn't take much time at all.

Swans

These swans are so pretty!! I have made so many for gifts and I think they are perfect for that. In my opinion, they take the longest to make but again it is well worth all of the folding LOL. I have made many different sizes, shapes and colours but this one is my favroite overall.

Koi Fish

At first I thought the Koi Fish would be very hard to make but it actually was a lot easier than I thought. I had to fold a lot more pieces than any of my other modules but it was well worth the effort. I wanted to glue on big google eyes but I didn't have thoes avilable at the time. I hope to get some when I make another one. I have done so exparimenting with different colours but nothing looks as good as the origional.

New Dragon Boats

I have made many dragon boats and after making the first one, they have gotten a lot better. I made a post a while ago about my first dragon boat and it is not as good as these. I added the bells and ribbons to make them look a little cutier and stand out more. The dragon boats are my favroite things to make :)

I also really like changing the colours and seeing which ones look the best together. I really like the way the pink, blue and green one turned out.

My 1000 Cranes

I spent months folding all 1000 cranes all by my self. It was a really great project to work on because it took so much patience and time. The final product is amazing and I am so happy with the way it turned out. I am currently making another one and I have completed folding 500 of them so far. I hope to be finished by October 2012 because I started the first one it October 2011.

I'm Back!!

Sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time!! I have been very busy lately and I finally had some down time to make a post.

So today's origami is a really cute guy named Keroppi. He is hello Kitty's frog friend. I think his eyes make him look so cute. I have made only about three of him but he is pretty fast to make. Anyways, Enjoy :)

I Love Fruit!

I really love fruit!! There is always some type of fresh fruit at my house, even paper fruit. I have only made one of each of these fruits and I still have them sitting on my origami shelf.

Here I have a watermelon, lemon and pineapple. They aren't my favroite things I have made but I guess they are still cute. Check back tomorrow for more origami creations!!

Cute Penguin

I thought for today's post I would show my penguin. There has been many versions I have made with this design mostly just by changing the eyes. I find paper eyes like this look super cute and I recently made one with google eyes that looked almost as good.

The bodies can be any colour really and I have made so many! It is funnny because I only have one for myself, and it's pink :) I hope you enjoyed your daily origami! I wonder what I am going to post tomorrow?? Hehe

Dragon Boat (Early Version)

I thought I would post 1 of my origami pictures per day until I am caught up to my recent models.

So in this post I will be showing the very first dragon boat I made. I personally think that it isn't very nice but for the first try it is ok. When I made this, I was having trouble making the pieces fit together in a uniform way so my more recent dragon boats have improved quite drastically. In the past I have sold 1 dragon boat for 20$ and trust me, it is a lot better than this one.

So to look forward to in the coming days are my improved dragon boats :)
